Policies and Procedures

PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES:

The intention of Shy’s Energy Healing Corner (SEHC) is to provide holistic healing. Sexual interaction or discussion of any kind while scheduling an appointment or during a session is NEVER appropriate. Any requests for sexual activity or any sexual innuendos made will NOT be tolerated and will be reported to the proper authority. Any payment already received will not be refunded and you can consider yourself no longer a client with my company.

The genital area will not be massaged or touched under any circumstances. The service modality does not matter. A professional distance will be maintained from these areas. I understand that arousal is possible. However, please conduct yourself in a decent and professional manner.

 

SCOPE OF PRACTICE:

I am a licensed massage therapist and held to the highest standards of the American Massage Therapy Association and National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. I am also a Certified Usui and Kundalini Reiki Practitioner. I do not diagnose or prescribe for medical conditions. The modalities I offer are alternative options and can be used complimentary.

 

PAYMENT POLICY:

 

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure an appointment.  The remainder is due the day of the session. You have the option to pay before the start of your session. This will eliminate us handling any finances at the beginning and we can smoothly begin the session.

  • Payment Methods: Cash, Paypal, Cash App, Venmo, Chase Quick Pay and Zelle are the current payment options.  If neither of these is an option for you then a card reader, which accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover can be used with a 2.70% service fee charge. 

 

NO SHOW:

 

You forfeit any payment received if you're a 'no show' with no communication of being late or having to reschedule after I arrive at your location after 7 mins. Please be courteous and communicate with me if something happens or comes up. After two consecutive no shows you will no longer be able to schedule an appointment with me.

 

CANCELLATION:

Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel an appointment, or any other modification to your appointment such as reduce/increase your appointment hours. If you fail to cancel prior to 24 hours before your appointment slot, or you do not show up for your appointment, any payment received will be forfeited.

 

RESCHEDULING: 

Life happens, I get it. As long as you contact me within 24 hrs and reschedule your appointment your deposit will still be valid. 

SPACE: 

Please have a space available for a massage table (28"W x 84" L) as well as enough space for me to maneuver around the table.

I love referrals! Sharing is Caring. Recommend me to a friend and once they complete their session, you will receive an additional 10 minutes on your next session.
